2013 Georgia Bankers Association Compensation and Benefits Survey
As a reminder, there are two parts of this survey, a Benefits or "Non-Salary" portion and a "Salary" portion. The due date for your Survey Response is Friday, June 28, 2013.
Similar to last year, there are two options for ways to complete the survey:
Option #1) Electronic - use the links below to access the different portions of the survey. The first portion listed is the Salary information and the second portion is the Benefits information which is split into 4 Sections to help with completion. Instructions are provided below for each portion of the survey.
Option #2) Paper – you use the links below but you print out each packet and submit your data via fax or mail after filling out the forms manually. Also, you could scan and email your response, if you prefer.
It is important to submit only one version, either paper or electronic, not both. Feel free to use which ever version is more convenient for you; however, we do encourage electronic submission to speed up processing of data and to minimize the risk of data entry errors.
In order for your participation to be accepted, you must complete both the Salary and Non-Salary portions of the survey.

Once you have determined which of your Bank’s jobs match the Survey’s jobs, then, record the salary data on the data input spreadsheet. You may access the data input spreadsheet by clicking on the link for the Salary Spreadsheet Template located below.
Salary data should be recorded as an annual rate of pay effective May 1, 2013.
Please remember to record data for ONLY:
- your bank’s jobs that match the survey jobs
- full-time employees in the matched job
- base salary rates; DO NOT include overtime or any special compensation, such as ATM premium, etc.
Recent government regulations affecting many community banks have made it difficult to determine what banks are currently paying for annual incentive compensation. Therefore, to help determine how much banks are setting aside for short-term (annual) incentive compensation, this year we are again collecting data in the following three areas: Annual Immediate Stock/Equity Bonus/Incentive, Annual Restricted or Deferred Stock Grant and Maximum Annual Incentive Potential. Instructions for how to report data for each of these three new questions are listed in both the Compensation Survey Participant Packet and the Data Submission Spreadsheet.
Salary Data Submission via Spreadsheet
